you can find are usually right in your home town if you have excellent
credit and super negotiation skills. Well that is the way used
to be anyway. Now the mathematicians have taken over and getting
that good home town relationship with the bank manager does not
ensure the lowest rate boat loan. One of the things that amazes
me these days is the way Americans are flocking to the internet
for their financing. Just a small time ago people were leery of
using their credit cards online.
Good
lord! Even my parents are using their credit cards online. Not
for the lowest rate boat loans but for all sorts of other products
and services. I'm getting off track here a little. Anyway, people
trying to finance their summer fun toys are well served to at
least check with the bank they have now. Perhaps the bank they
have their mortgage with will come across with the lowest rate
boat loan possible. If the bank has their game in order they will
honor the people who have done business with for year. This is
the way it should be. However.......
I
have personally seen banks turn down families and individuals
for financing that were 20 year customers. Their credit may have
been dinged a small bit on a bill payment that got missed and
the bank turns away on them because of it. These examples were
not people looking for the lowest rated boat loans but the example
works. There is no excuse for this and I'm glad to say that these
people all dumped the banks they were with and moved everything
to a bank that had a much better customer service center. If you
